Demand was good to very good on a moderate to heavy offering. There was a good quality offering of 400-650 lb steers calves on offer Monday along with the yearling steers all sold on and active market. Cash fed cattle market hit the 250.00 mark in the Northern Plains with sales of 248.00-249.00 in the South all giving a lot of optimism to the market. Stick out sales included 78 hd of fancy/thin 520 lb steers at 590.00, 120 hd of 882 lb steers at 359.75 and 120 hd of 909 lb steers at 358.00. Slaughter cows sold firm to 5.00 higher.
