Demand was good for the bigger groups of quality cattle to light for the all natural calves. The feeder cattle market has been extremely volatile this week with cattle futures taking a sharp downturn midweek leaving those operating on the physical side of the cattle business confused and frustrated. Slaughter cows sold uneven with the fleshier breaking cows steady to 2.00 lower and the boning and lean cows 3.00-7.00 lower.
