Heifer calves overall sold uneven with 400-450 lbs selling steady to firm, 450-500 lbs traded steady to 5.00 lower, 500-550 lbs had a much larger offering this week and sold with a steady to firm undertone, 550-600 lbs sold steady to 10.00 lower and over 600 lbs were not well tested. Demand was good on a large offering. Market remains active as with last week's fed cattle market reaching another new high at 265.00. Several stick out sales included 41 steers weighing 614 lbs at 478.25, pot load steers weighing 790 lbs at 389.00; 116 steers weighing 945 lbs at 345.00 and 95 heifers weighing 545 lbs at 465.00. Slaughter cows sold 2.00-5.00 higher.
