Today's heifer trade saw 500 lb calves as much as 20.00 higher with 600 -700 lb 15.00 lower and no test on the yearling cattle. High quality ran very deep in today's consignments of home-raised fall calves both in smaller packages and load lots. Available were calves both "just off the cow" and LTW'd but all double vaccinated. Demand was very good for today's large supply. Internet bidding active. The next scheduled feeder calf special is May 7.
