Oklahoma City, OK Wed Aug, 12 2026 OKC West Livestock Auction - El Reno, OK Weighted Average Report for 8/11/2026 Receipts: 6298 Last Week: 3771 Last Year: 6037 Compared to last week: Feeder steers 10.00-15.00 lower. Feeder heifers 15.00-20.00 lower except 850-900lbs 5.00 higher. There was a draft of 301 head of heifers 851lbs that brought 312.00 and that was the high light of the day. Stocker type heifers weighing 600-700lbs sold steady. Quality and condition did play a role in today's downturn in the market as cattle were either summertime feeders or good cattle were fat, fleshy, or full. Steer and heifer calves over 500lbs unevenly steady, under 500lbs to light a test to set a trend but a lower undertone noted. Most front-end cattle, Tuesday, were un-weaned and no trend to set on those classes of cattle. Tuesday's supply included 59% un-weaned cattle. Its August and buyers are being selective on buying calves in this heat.
