Feeder heifers unevenly steady. Steer and heifer calves 5.00-10.00 higher. Demand strong. Quality average to attractive. Temperatures dropped close to freezing overnight making a slow start for the cattle and salebarn alike. As temperatures rose throughout the day so did the quality and appeal of both weaned and unweaned calves, setting several new barn and state records.
