Steer calves 15.00-20.00 lower. Heifer calves did not have enough classes to test due to low receipts and quality differences. Demand good. Quality plain to average, several drafts of fleshy steers. All eyes were on the boards of trade today as the sale progressed, CME feeder cattle contracts for all months in 2027 are now trading below 3.00. Lack of grass, any significant precipitation, and extreme heat indexes continue to weigh heavily on demand.
