Steers weighing 750 to 1050 lbs also saw significant downward pressure, trading 25.00 lower. These declines are primarily attributed to the sharp losses in CME cattle futures over the past two weeks. While the Nebraska Sandhills received rain showers, the moisture arrived too late for pastures and hay crops to recover.
