Compared to last week's light test: Feeder steers 3.00-5.00 higher.
Feeder heifers steady to 3.00 higher. Steer calves 6.00-10.00 higher,
instance to 20.00 higher on lighter weights. Heifer calves 3.00-8.00
higher. Demand very good for all classes. Cattle futures continued to
move higher, helping to improve feeder demand. Rain and cooler
temperatures moved across much of the state this week and this improved
demand for calves. Slaughter cows sold steady to 2.00 higher. Slaughter
bulls 2.00 higher. Demand good for all classes of cows.
