Portales, NM Thu Apr, 17 2025 Roswell Livestock Auction - Roswell, NM Feeder Cattle Weighted Average Report for 4/14/2025 Current Previous Year Ago —————————— —————————— —————————— Total 1160 555 1345 Feeder Cattle 883 358 920 Replacement Cattle 139 117 250 Slaughter Cattle 138 80 175 Compared to last weeks sale; Steer calves 300-350 lbs sold 10.00 lower and 350-600 lbs were 11.00-20.00 higher. Feeder steer and heifers had no comparable sales. Heifer calves 300-350 lbs and 550-600 lbs sold 10.00 lower while 350-550 lbs were 12.00-19.00 higher. Trade was very good on larger numbers with very good demand. Slaughter cows sold steady -8.00 higher and slaughter bulls were sharply higher. Market was very good with excellent buyer attendance.
