Steer and heifer calves were too lightly tested last week for a market trend, but a much higher undertone was noted. Trading activity was active on very good buyer demand. Quality was mixed, with the bulk of the offering consisting of yearlings coming off the short wheat or out of backgrounding yards. Slaughter cows and bulls traded 1.00 to 3.00 higher on a light test.
