Demand for feeder cattle was good; however, weakness in the CME feeder cattle market, which closed $3.125 lower, resulted in feeder steers and bulls trading steady to $2.00 lower, while feeder heifers traded steady to $5.00 lower. Demand for slaughter cattle was strong, with prices $5.00 to $10.00 higher.
