Worthing, SD Thu Jun, 11 2026 Mitchell Livestock Auction - Mitchell, SD Weighted Average Report for 6/11/2026 Receipts: 5200 Last Week: 849 Last Year: 6497 Compared to last week: Feeder steers 900 lbs and heavier, steady to 5.00 higher. Feeder heifers too lightly tested last week for comparison. Good to very good demand for this large offering of backgrounded yearlings, many offered in full loads and multiple load lots, and for weaned fall calves. Plenty of high quality cattle on display, and plenty of buyers on the seats ready to compete heavily. Flesh condition on the yearlings ranged from light to heavy. Flesh on the heifers was pretty heavy across the offering. The market was active throughout the day, incredibly active on the fall calves. CME Feeder Cattle futures gained 5.00, but the Live Cattle futures weren't able to make those kinds of gains as they still lag behind the cash trade. Next feeder sale will be June 25, 2026.
