Too few yearling steers and heifers offered this week to allow a good comparison. Moderate to good demand for both calves and yearlings, but flesh is a huge factor as cattle feeders are facing a futures complex that is seeing large daily losses, which is creating much uncertainty. The fed cattle market is lower again this week, adding to the pressure on the feeder cattle market. The next feeder cattle auction will be Nov. 13th, expecting 1500 head of feeders, starting at 10:00 am.
